Hooked and booked!

There are some shows which give you a sense of satisfaction when they air their latest episode, you watch it, you like it, and then you're done. BUT. There are others which keep you craving for an extra minute, it will make you go online and look for deleted scenes, gag reels, and anything else you can find. There are shows which bring you to the point of obsession. Some shows have got me hooked, booked and HOW! Great action, awesome cast and a gripping storyline that I could not get enough of. Let's evaluate the shows that have got us craving for more each time they end.

1. BBC's Sherlock

BBC's Sherlock has made people realise what 'Pain' truly is. It has an amazing cast. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman Need I say more? They have essayed the roles of Sherlock and John Watson to perfection. Their bromance is subtle but extraordinary. It's easy to fall in love with this show, not just for the cast, but for the storytelling and the direction which is PHENOMENAL If you haven't watched it yet. WATCH IT SOON!

2. Supernatural

Saving people. Hunting Things. The Family Business.

The story of two brothers who are on a quest to bring down all the monsters that you fear hide under your bed. Vampires, Werewolves, ghosts, demons and angels. They're all afraid of Dean and Sam Winchester. What I love about Supernatural, isn't the high octane drama or the thrill of seeing two absolutely handsome men hunt down a supernatural being. It's the relationship that two brothers share. It's their motivation to get through everything that keeps them together. We've seen love angles a bit too much, which is close to a minimum in this show. This one's all about Bromance... and Supernatural stuff. They've grown through 10 Seasons and they're here to stay.

3. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Ever since Clark Gregg's character, Agent Coulson died on Avengers, there was a huge uproar which gave Agent Phil Coulson, his very own TV Show. Being a Marvel Fangirl, I tend not to miss out on any Marvel releases, and so I watched this show too. Initially, it was a little underwhelming, but I decided to watch it just to see how it shapes up. BEST DECISION EVER. Agents of SHIELD has picked up pace and is easily climbing up the ladder of 'Best TV Shows' to watch. They've got smart aleck characters and a great sense of direction and story telling. Jump on to this bus as soon as you can, because the ride just keeps getting better.

4. Game of Thrones

The fight for the Iron Throne. Game of Thrones by HBO was a show that didn't bode very well for me in the first episode, what with all the incest. BUT. Once you get over it, it easily features in one of the most popular TV shows list. It's got drama, it's got action, it's got gore and more than anything, it has extremely fascinating characters.... which are killed off the minute you fall in love with them. Cue Oberyn Martell. Apart from the innumerable amounts of deaths at weddings. This is one show that just CANNOT BE MISSED!

I was so fascinated by it, I even made a fan page, that I don't regularly update -_- That reminds me, must start now. Here's the link - https://www.facebook.com/GameOfThronesIndiaFanPage

5. Breaking Bad

Aha. If you haven't seen this one, you're truly missing out on some great story telling and acting. Breaking Bad, is a show with a good guy turned bad guy as the hero, and unfortunately... All bad things must come to an end. I won't say much about this show, because there are no words to explain it. Just watch it.

Top 5 Ladies on Supernatural

They're strong, fearless, and they kick ass just as much as Dean and Sam Winchester. Here's an appreciation post for my top 5 ladies of Supernatural.

1. Charlie

I love Charlie.  She's got quirky one liners, she's a hacker and she's like the little sister Dean and Sam never had. She's got spunk. Oh, and did I mention, she's the Queen of Moondor.

2. Jo

My second favorite character is Jo. She's strong headed, stubborn and she knows how to use a shotgun. Even though Ellen was protective of her, she knew how to get shot done. And come on... Jo and Dean moments? Instant LOVE!

3. Bella

She was manipulative, smart and independent. Kind of a b**** but she did it for herself. And to top it all off, sexy as hell! She and Dean had a really strong chemistry going on there. Pity she sold her soul.

4. Ruby

The Demon with kick ass lines. There was something about Ruby that kept you coming back for more. She was sassy, smart, and hilarious at times. I liked both Katie Cassidy and Genevieve Padalecki's portrayal of the character. They both brought their own fee to Ruby. And they both rocked.

5. Ellen

Ellen was to say the least, intimidating and incredibly fascinating. I loved Ellen. She was protective and could kick your ass like a champ. That's not to say she didn't have a soft side. Remember how she checked up on the boys every once in a while or the relationship that she and Dean share? She was tough, but she was awesome.

So here's my take on who the top 5 women of Supernatural are. Who are yours?

Lady Luck on Supernatural?

A show that's essentially run by four very attractive men, Supernatural has just introduced two women into it's fold. Don't get me wrong, it's great! First and foremost, let's introduce the King of Hell's Mother - Rowena!

She's creepy, scary and evil!

Initially, Rowena, the witch was set up to be a very interesting character that I really looked forward to. I loved her accent and there was something that was so downright creepy about her, it was unsettling. What was the downfall of Rowena however, was that she's just way too over done now! Take for instance the latest episode where she was featured. Crowley, is the KING of hell! Can't he see through his mommy dearest's act? There's no love lost for Crowley, because he was a wee lad when his mom walked out on him, it's natural to feel blinded by her. However, what I don't get is why she comes across as so fake "I'm the King of Hell's Mother' has been repeated so many times, I could make a shot game out of it. I hope she gets a little less annoying and more important with the next few episodes, because she is definitely not boding well for me.

And then there's Claire.

She's just downright annoying.

Claire Novak has had a tumultuous childhood, I get it. She's angsty, she's depressed and she's rebelling, but how does that lead to her still believing in Randy after he SOLD her to the man. She refuses to accept Castiel's help and wants to continue falling into the wrong hands. Well... We've all been teens once, but I guess Claire skipped the whole 'common sense' part.

Stemming from the fact that we've had PHENOMENAL female characters like Bella, Jo, Jody, Ellen, Meg, Ruby, Charlie and more, this is definitely a let down.

I LOVE Supernatural, it is one of the shows, I never miss, come what may. My free time is spent watching videos of the boys at Comic cons but these two characters are below the SPN standards according to me.
